Coming off the heels of a 49-4 season and finishing second in the Florida Sun Basketball Conference, Miami Prep started putting a team for next season together. On Monday evening, the Tornadoes brought in Tyler Pinder and Jordan Sanchez into the fold.

Pinder is a 6-2 point guard, who comes from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and he has played with the Bahamian National Team. He was a member of the Class 6A All Tournament team this past season as he played for Broken Arrow Public Schools.

Sanchez, a 6-5 combo guard, comes to Miami after playing his senior season at City of Life Academy. He is currently playing with Q6 All-Stars Elite travel team. He has super handles and can create for himself off the ball.

“We are excited to have both of these players on our team next year,” Said Miami Prep president Pilin Alvarez. “These two kids are both D-1 talent and we expect them to continue to excel in our program.”
