Linde, has been playing a high level of basketball since for the past 10 years, including numerous national tournaments in Spain, Portugal and Lithuania.

“Getting a player of this caliber to commit to our program is huge,” said President/CEO Art “Pilin” Alvarez of Linde. “He is a serious player that can stretch the floor and also handle the rock.”

His career high was achieved this past season as he put in 45 points in a 68-62 road win for his ABQ team over a higher favorite Logrobasket in the La Rioja Junior Championships. Another big game for Linde came when he poured in 28 points for his team against another favorite the Selection of Castilla and Leon, which they won 60-47, in a match that allowed his team to raise in division.

While playing in his second year of cadet ball he was promoted to the Extramadura National Team and was ranked in the top 10 in points, assists and steals during the tournament.

“Looking forward to see what he [Linde] can do against competition on this side of the world,” added Alvarez. “He is going to come in and work hard to get to the next level.”

On top of all his accolades on the court, Linde also has very solid grades as he looks to continue his progression on and off the court next season at Miami Prep under the tutelage of Alvarez.
