By Roman Garcia Jr.

Miami Prep announced on Friday, December 13th that they had decided to part ways with former coach. The team is off to a 27-3 start, which marks the most wins in the State of Florida for any prep school thus far in the 2019-2020 season.

“We will go in a different direction for our second half of the season,” said President and CEO Art “Pilin” Alvarez. “We are always looking to improve in certain areas and want to put the kids in the best situation to succeed.”

The Tornadoes have been led this year by Norchad Omier and Petar Krivokapic, who have both drawn numerous offers from Division 1 schools.

News of a new coach will be made soon as Miami Prep ventures out to start the second half of the season after the Christmas break. The team resumes practices on Jan. 6.
